Bitmosh
An Android app for datamoshing video through motion reuse, frame repetition, and colour control.
Bitmosh is my Android app for datamoshing. It uses motion information from compressed video to carry one image into another, repeat motion, and alter colour recovery.
Clips come from the gallery or the camera. The editor provides trimming, transitions, motion repeats, previews, and MP4 export. Rendering runs on the device without an account or server.
Flow controls how motion carries the image between clips.
Repeat extends motion at a selected point in the clip.
The app is in closed testing. The screenshots show the actual editor using its bundled demo footage.
